Green...earrings and the day

Today I was supposed to "spring clean" our whole house, and get it ready for the open home on Saturday, but could I be bothered? NO, but did I do it? YES... it's apart of my responsibility as a SAHM (stay at home mum) I guess, and I feel bad if I don't do any cleaning/cooking as the hubby is at work all day working hard for the moolah.

Anyway I didn't get the whole house done, but I got quite alot done, so tomorrow I will just finish off what I can. Then do the last minute stuff on Saturday morning.. Yay, fingers crossed that we get some bites on our house.

Well, while Anaiah was sleeping this afternoon I decided to start on my passion for "make up" as I mentioned in my first blog I have a huge desire and passion for it, so I thought I would do a bit of a green smokey eye... haven't done too much smokey eyes, as I usually don't wear make up throughout the day, I do wear it to church (sometimes) and when I go out to Karaoke, I wear it, I have a bit of a hate/love relationship with it, or maybe because I am a SAHM and home all day, I don't see the need in wearing it just for my baby girl, but for me to get better I thought I would do a daily face, or daily eyes, so todays was the smokey green eye.

I have also uploaded a couple of photos :) the necklace in there was a bargain of $5 woot woot.

Anyway I hope you enjoy looking at them, as you will probably notice my blog/vlog won't be on anything specific, just on a whole bunch of stuff that I do by myself, what we do as a family... oh and sometimes the daily life of my baby Anaiah :)

First VLOG

Am hoping that this upload of the video worked, am still new to this, so anyone who reads this will just have to bare with me, while I go through my "teething" stages of working it all out.

Am thinking of writing a song.......have had all these thoughts going through my head, anyway will probably keep it posted on here.

Well off to netball for me now, then band practice.

Life seems so busy at the moment, can almost blog about anything, but right now I don't have the time.

It's the Beginning

So, I thought I would start a blog, or vlog of the sort basically about my journey as a new mum, and everything to do with our family, which is me + hubby + baby.

I guess things I will include in here are things I am passionate about, day to day adventures with my baby Anaiah, and the journey of hubby and I.

I am not sure what font or what kind of page this will look like, but as long as I get "me" out there, i'm happy with that.

A little about me, am 24 years old, was married on the 1st of March 2008 to my best friend Emille Hoods, we have 1 daughter Anaiah Naomi Hoods who was born on the 1st of January 2010 and she is our little miracle, she is just an amazing little girl, and I am really blessed to be her mum, seeing her grow from day to day astounds me.

I'm not working at the moment, i'm a stay at home mum and I enjoy it, sometimes it's challenging staying at home, because i'm so use to working, but the time at home I cherish with my girl, and with that time I have realized what my real passion is, and if money wasn't an issue my dream job is to be a make up artist... cheezy you might say, but ever since I was a early teen i've loved mucking around with make up and bitz and bobz... so I will probably venture down that exciting, creative road soon. At the moment just slowly starting my kit, and doing faces. I know I will make it, am determined to.

On the other side, I have a love for music, and song, aka I love to sing! Am hoping my daughter takes up this love too, it seems as though she loves the guitar, because whenever her daddy plays it she just sits by him mesmerized by it..

On the physical side I love my sports, play Netball whenever I can. I also love Volleyball, when it comes to watching sport on TV, I have to stay loyal to my roots, the Ruby Union is my game, especially when NZ is playing, or South Africa. My hubby is South African, and I am Kiwi.. and our baby was born here in Australia.. so we call her our "Tri-Nations" baby.

Well I guess that is it for my first entry, I am looking forward to updating and keeping track of everything on here.
